 d to welcome Anne Katrin Burghartz (schlaich bergermann partner\, Berlin) 
 for a keynote lecture on her work at the intersection of art and structure
 . This talk is free and open to all.\n\nAnne K. Burghartz has been a struc
 tural engineer and project manager at the Berlin office of schlaich berger
 mann partner since 2016. She studied civil engineering at TU Berlin with a
  focus on structural engineering. At sbp she has worked on bridges\, build
 ings\, pedestrian bridges\, art installations\, and lightweight and membra
 ne structures\, and from 2023 to 2025 she helped develop the concap floor 
 system\, which received the Innovation Award from the German Sustainable B
 uilding Council in 2026. Her practice also runs along the boundary between
  engineering and art: she was the structural engineer for Christo and Jean
 ne-Claude's wrapping of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris in 2021.\n\nThe lectu
 re is part of the Design Modelling Symposium 2026\, which brings together 
 keynotes and research discussions on the shifting relationship between des
 igners and intelligent machines across materials\, people\, and responsibi
