DESCRIPTION:Lidia Atanasova\, Sigrid Brell-Cokcan\nOn the day 3 of the Ca
 pitalising on uncertainty summer school\, we have the pleasure to welcome 
 two lecturers focussing on design with uncertainty:\n \nSigrid Brell-Cokc
 an is the founder and director of the Chair of Individualized Production a
 t RWTH Aachen University\, President of the Association for Robots in Arch
 itecture (RiA)\, and a member of the Board of Directors of euRobotics. Wit
 h a background in architecture\, she has collaborated with leading interna
 tional practices including Coop Himmelblau\, Frank Gehry\, Peter Cook\, an
 d Bollinger + Grohmann. Her research focuses on making industrial robotics
  accessible to architecture and construction\, particularly through intuit
 ive human–robot interaction and digital fabrication workflows. At RWTH A
 achen\, she leads interdisciplinary research on innovative machinery\, ind
 ividualized production\, and user-friendly interfaces that connect design 
 directly to robotic fabrication. She also co-founded the Center for Constr
 uction Robotics\, bringing together academia and industry to advance autom
 ation in construction. Her work has contributed to European robotics resea
 rch agendas\, the development of construction robotics as a field\, and ne
 w approaches to flexible\, human-centered robotic production.\n \nLidia A
 tanasova is a postdoctoral researcher at the Professorship of Digital Fabr
 ication\, Department of Architecture\, Technical University of Munich. An 
 architect by training\, she works across computational design and digital 
 fabrication to advance human–robot collaboration in building constructio
 n — pairing human judgment and dexterity with the spatial precision of r
 obotic systems. She completed her doctoral dissertation\, "Building (with)
  Human-Robot Teams" with distinction in 2025\, developed within the TUM In
 novation Network "CoConstruct." This research introduced fabrication-aware
  design methods and adaptive workflows for AR-guided human-robot cooperati
 ve assembly. In 2024\, she was a visiting researcher at XAIA lab\, Princet
 on School of Architecture\, working on Augmented TimberCraft and AR Timber
  Assembly. She has taught design studios and seminars on computational des
 ign and digital fabrication at TUM since 2019 and co-led international wor
 kshops. Her current research explores how machine intelligence can carry c
 raft knowledge into robotic making.\n\nThe titles of their presentations a
