  the EPFL Director of Public Affairs\, will be giving a keynote talk on th
 e importance of science-policy and how the EPFL academic community can get
  involved. Marie Jones\, an EPFL doctorate who went on to pursue a 5-month
  traineeship at the European Commission\, will also provide testimony from
  a young academic's perspective.\nThe panel will be followed by an apéro\
