DESCRIPTION:An annual scientific meeting organized by the Lausanne MD-PhD 
 Commission UNIL and EPFL. Medical students interested in combining medicin
 e and research are warmly welcome. \n\nThe retreat brings together MD-PhD
  students and candidates\, alumni\, thesis directors and faculty members. 
 Medical students interested in pursuing an MD-PhD are warmly welcome to di
 scover the programme and meet its community. Attendance is mandatory for s
 tudents currently enrolled in the MD-PhD programme.\n\nThe programme inclu
 des research presentations and posters by doctoral students\, invited talk
 s\, interactive speed coaching with UNIL/EPFL principal investigators and 
 MD-PhD alumni\, and a roundtable with senior clinical and academic leaders
  on clinical career pathways and support for MD-PhD graduates. Prizes will
  recognise the best oral presentation and the three best posters.\n\nCoffe
 e and croissants will be served from 08:45\, with the opening at 09:00. Th
 e roundtable is scheduled from 15:00 to 16:00\, followed by an apéritif a
 nd informal discussions. The event is expected to finish by 18:00\, includ
 ing the apéritif. The provisional programme is available below and remain
 s subject to change.\n\nLunch and the closing apéritif are offered. To re
