DESCRIPTION:Roger Boltshauser\, architecte\, Zürich\ncinq architectes °
cinq pays ° trois projets\, public conférences\nFor this series of lectu
res\, 5 different architects from 5 different European countries were aske
d to give an insight into their work practice. Each office will present 3
projects in detail from the first sketch to the final construction plans.
One of the presented projects will be the office’s very first building\,
which will help answer the question of how to start an architectural offi
ce. The other two projects will demonstrate the individual offices’ diff
erent signatures and the different strategies they pursue to realize archi
tectural ideas in the specific local context. The lectures will illustrate
an individual practical approach to architecture and provide an overview
of the contemporary architectural trends in Europe.Roger BoltshauserBoltsh
