DESCRIPTION:The central theme of the ISEAC series of conferences is the in
 novative use of analytical methods for the investigation of environmentall
 y relevant materials and problems.\nThe programme of ISEAC38 will consist 
 of invited lectures\, oral contributions and poster sessions. Session topi
 cs will be either method-oriented or problem-oriented. In particular\, we 
 welcome contributions that cover the full range of the ISEAC scope: challe
 nges from the environmental field\, methods developed in the environmental
  domain and new insights through multidisciplinary interaction.\nYour acti
 ve participation is highly encouraged. Oral and poster contributions are w
 elcomed on the following problems:\n• Detection and identification of or
 ganic pollutants and related compounds\;\n• Sensitive determination and 
 speciation of heavy metals and radionuclides in the environment\;\n• Atm
 ospheric pollution and related studies\;\n• Indoor and outdoor degradati
 on of cultural heritage materials\;\n• Proteomics and metallomics-based 
 studies\;\n• (Eco)toxicology\; or on the use of the following methods of
  investigation:\n• Organic and inorganic mass spectrometry\;\n• X-ray 
 and electron-beam based methods\;\n• Electrochemical methods\;\n• Bios
 ensors\;\n• Environmental sampling and sampling strategies\;\n• REACH 
 and related regulatory strategies\;\n• Metrology\, references materials\
 ; method validation.
