 rization Center - Kick-Off Meeting\nThe Molecular and Hybrid Materials Cha
 racterization (MHMC) Center is a central user facility\, which has been se
 t-up at the School of Engineering to serve the materials characterization 
 needs of the EPFL community.\nThe mission of this facility is to provide s
 tate-of-the art facilities for the characterization of soft (organic\, pol
 ymer\, biological)\, nano- and hybrid materials. In a first stage\, the se
 rvices provided by the facility will concentrate on two platforms: (i) siz
 es and size distributions of macromolecules and particles in solution and 
 (ii) thermal properties and thermodynamic parameters of interactions in so
 lutions. In a second stage\, we hope to be able to expand the facility to 
 include other key areas as well.\nDrinks and sandwiches will be available.
