 f mobile phones to monitor everyday activities of users. I will describe h
 ow various sensors on the phone can be used  and be combined to monitor ac
 tivity and the various projects which have started to use the approach. In
  particular i will describe our work EmotionSense which allows the sensing
  of user behaviour and mood to help social psychology research. I will fur
 ther illustrate how this could be integrated into mobile social network ap
