 trepreneurship & Innovation aims to improve the European doctoral-level ed
 ucation in entrepreneurship\, innovation and strategy. Whereas the importa
 nce of entrepreneurship for innovation\, economic growth\, and sustainable
  development has been clearer than ever before\, the field has still been 
 insufficiently recognized by European business research institutes. By org
 anizing an annual conference bringing together leading academics and promi
 sing students in the field\, the Consortium creates opportunities to discu
 ss new ideas\, receive practical research advice\, and build stronger conn
 ections in the academic field.\nBesides the activities in the doctoral-lev
 el education\, the SEI Consortium also provides a platform for senior rese
 arch to discuss their work. The first SEI Faculty Workshop took place in A
 pril 2012 at the ETH Zürich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). The 
 second SEI Faculty Workshop will be hosted by EPFL in Lausanne.\nThe inaug
 ural schools and current members of the SEI Consortium are:\n- HEC Paris\n
