 ations (RMP) are known to have a mitigating effect on edge-localised modes
  (ELMs) and are therefore an active field of research. The main motivation
  of this work was to provide a single particle simulation framework focusi
 ng on the impact of the RMP field on the behaviour of fast ions as origina
 ting from neutral beam injection. First\, it will be discussed how the sin
 gle particle simulation code VENUS-LEVIS was improved with a new ANIMEC eq
 uilibrium interpolation method as well as extended to simulate the RMP fie
 ld on top of the equilibrium. Two different models of including the RMP fi
 eld will be discussed and compared. Later\, some preliminary results of th
 e fast ion simulations will be presented.
