 ic group G\, sheets are the maximal irreducible subsets of G consisting of
  conjugacy classes of the same dimension. In a joint work with F. Esposito
  we showed in 2012 how to parametrize sheets and we described classes lyin
 g in a given sheet\, when the characteristic of the base field is good. Th
 ese results can be used in order to show that the parts in a partition of 
 G recently introduced by G. Lusztig are unions of sheets.
