DESCRIPTION:Life Sciences Switzerland (LS2) Annual Meeting\, on February 4
 -5th 2014\nLS2 – previously known as USGEB – is a non-profit organisat
 ion dedicated to advancing the life sciences within the Swiss academic com
 munity. Founded over 40 years ago\, the organisation provides an important
  network for researchers working in all domains of fundamental and applied
  biological and biomedical research. Furthermore\, LS2 provides the opport
 unity for researchers to have a unified voice to address the social\, ethi
 cal and economic impact of the life sciences within the broader community.
 \nThe Annual Meeting is a highlight event of LS2\, attracting hundreds of 
 researchers from across Switzerland\, as well as those abroad interested t
 o stay in contact with the Swiss life sciences network. In the 2014 meetin
 g we are excited to welcome outstanding international plenary speakers\, a
 s well as host symposia organised by the LS2 member societies that will hi
 ghlight the cutting-edge research performed in Switzerland today.\nFor jun
 ior scientists\, the conference provides a unique first opportunity to pre
 sent their research accomplishments to a national audience. Moreover\, for
  Masters\, Doctoral and Post-doctoral researchers planning to take their n
