DESCRIPTION:Yakov Kremnitzer\, Oxford\nI will explain how one can do geome
 try in a symmetric monoidal category following Deligne\, Toen-Vaquie and T
 oen-Vezzosi. In case the category is the the category of abelian groups o
 ne recovers standard algebraic geometry. Choosing other categories gives 
 new ways of approaching known geometries and also possibilities for new ge
 ometries. Geometry relative to the category of Banach spaces turns out to
  give a new approach to analytic geometry (and differential geometry). Th
 is approach is very suitable for developing derived analytic geometry. Thi
 s is joint work with Oren Ben-Bassat.
