 r\, author\, and comedian\, Marco Paolini\, will give you a chance to lear
 n more about the XVII Century inventor.\nUsing his voice\, Paolini will br
 ing back to life Galileo Galilei\, the staunch defender of Copernicus\, in
  a public reading. With his telescope\, Galileo observed the stars and dis
 proved Ptolemean geocentrism. Although his theory was deemed a heresy and 
 cost him his freedom\, it remains a genuine scientific discovery.\nThis is
  the Galileo Galilei that Marco Paolini is trying to revive\, with humor a
 nd simplicity: a man obsessed by the desire to understand the universe. We
  invite you to attend Paolini’s reading at EPFL and to become acquainted
  with this legendary figure whose genius has rarely been surpassed.
