DESCRIPTION:Mr. Pedro Molina - University of Lorraine in Nancy\, France\nT
he ALINE experiment at the University of Lorraine aims at benchmarking RF-
sheath models by experimentally studying cold magnetized capacitively coup
led plasmas. Initial experiments require RF power to be effectively couple
d to the plasma with minimal reflection through an impedance matching circ
uit. In order to build this matching-circuit\, plasma bulk and sheath cond
itions must be modeled to develop an equivalent plasma impedance. Analytic
al solutions to this problem exist for simple geometries\, yet given the c
onditions and geometries of ICRH antennas in fusion devices\, the current
work focuses in using the COMSOL Multiphysics software to model the plasma
  impedance in arbitrary geometries.
