 joint call for transnational research projects in Synthetic Biology. The c
 all will represent a unique opportunity for Europe and the USA to build Sy
 nthetic Biology capacity through innovative transnational projects.\nCTI i
 s the official Swiss funding partner for the ERA-NET in Synthetic Biology 
 ERASynBio which was initiated in 2012 in the frame of FP7. Together\, the 
 12 funding organizations involved in this call (including the US American 
 SNF) expect to invest around 16 Mill. € for Synthetic Biology research i
 n the participating countries. Switzerland is participating in 4 out of 8
