 ric Barrier Discharge plasma actuators are currently at the center of many
  investigations for several fields of applications. Though they are known 
 to be ozone producers and are actually used for this purpose in some cases
 \, the influence of ozone in the behaviour of Surface DBD plasma actuators
  for aerodynamic flow control is either not taken into consideration or no
 t yet well understood. We study here the formation of Ozone in Surface Die
 lectric Barrier Discharge plasma actuators by using a simplified kinetic m
 odel first through a zero-dimensional approach and then through the implem
 entation in a two-dimensional in-house code developed at ONERA (the French
  Aerospace Lab\, Toulouse) and modelling the behaviour of cold atmospheric
 -pressure plasmas. We achieve qualitative results on ozone production tren
 ds depending on voltage of actuation.
