DESCRIPTION:Jean Verrette (Hawaii)\nLet G be a compact Lie group\, and con
 sider the 2-sphere as the base of a smooth complex G-vector bundle. We exp
 lore when these bundles are strongly algebraic\, i.e.\, when there exists 
 a non singular algebraic complex G-variety which is equivariantly diffeomo
 rphic to the 2-sphere. We first present many such equivariant line bundles
  as strongly algebraic\, and we proceed to construct all bundles with cond
 itional group actions as sums of line bundles. We also explore the unfinis
 hed cases and possible methods of completion. This work is in progress wit
