  school\, Prof. James Larus have undertaken a survey on software licenses 
 used in the IC faculty to gain a better understanding on the protection of
  our intellectual property in relation to software licensing.\nThis talk p
 resents the results and conclusions from such work and the new guidelines 
 developed by the Technology Transfer Office to ease researchers work when 
 sharing or transferring software.\nAfter the presentation an open debate w
 ill follow on the subject to collect feedbacks and suggestions on possible
  improvements which can help researchers in their day to day life.
