DESCRIPTION:Ernest Brooks\nWe give an adelic description of the reduction 
 map for Gan-Gross-Prasad diagonal cycles on Shimura varieties attached to 
 unitary groups. These cycles can be thought of as higher-dimensional analo
 gues of Heegner points\, and the study of their reduction uses both geomet
 ric and automorphic analogues of the study of reduction maps on modular cu
 rves. This is joint work with D. Jetchev.
