 two successful 5 week courses on water treatment and sanitary engineering 
 in 2014.\nThis session will explain the overall course structure and conte
 nt and how to conceptualize on-line teaching for a global audience. It wil
 l show some examples from the different modules and provide selected feedb
 ack from the over 1500 students who have achieved a certificate of accompl
 ishment in 126 different countries.Short biography:\nDr. Christoph Luethi 
 is a Senior Scientist at Eawag\, Department of Water and Sanitation in Dev
 eloping Countries. Dr. Luethi also teaches the MSc course “Sanitary Engi
 neering in Developing Countries” (ENV-402) at EPFL
