 ommercially available\; and to some others\, which might once become “di
 sruptive technology”. While doing so\, we had to push back various limit
 s. I will describe some examples of this process. The examples shall show 
 how we extended our knowledge and know-how in the field of current sensing
 \; how we tried to share our enthusiasm with industry\; how our industrial
  partners dealt with economic limits\; and how the others circumvented som
 e barriers that we considered insurmountable.
