DESCRIPTION:The Research Office manages the financing of scientific equipm
 ent whose cost exceeds CHF 50\,000 (not including VAT) for the EPFL resear
 ch community.\nRequests should be submitted via GrantsDB. The attribution 
 of funding is decided between the vice Presidency for Academic Affairs and
  the Dean of Research\, in collaboration with the Deans of Faculty. The Re
 search Office will organise the necessary processes and materials.
