DESCRIPTION:Fonds National Suisse (FNS / SNSF)\nSNSF professorships addres
 s young researchers who intend to pursue an academic career and wish to es
 tablish their own team to realise a research project.\nThis funding progra
 mme also aims at helping young talented researchers living abroad to conti
 nue their career development in Switzerland. Promotion of women succession
  in the academic field is another goal.\nWith its action plan “Coordinat
 ed Swiss Energy Research”\, SNF also wants to encourage young researcher
 s to apply to this funding opportunity to keep on the development of excel
 lence in this sector.\nAn SNSF professorship includes the researcher's sal
 ary (assistant professorship level)\, a research grant\, salaries of emplo
 yees as well as a contribution to infrastructure costs. The funding period
  is 4 years and may be extended by no more than 2 years.\nIMPORTANT: Pleas
