DESCRIPTION:Eugene Lim\nCollisions of solitons and domain walls are often
very messy affairs and require numerical approaches. However\, I will show
that such collisions in the ultra-relativistic limit possess a well-defin
ed perturbative approach\, with an expansion in the powers of inverse Lore
ntz factor times the inverse velocity. This allows us to attack these prob
lems analytically without the use of numerics. As a demonstration\, I will
derive the velocity and phase shifts in the collisions of solitons with p
eriodic but non-integrable potentials.\nIf we have time\, I will also show
some cool movies from GRCHOMBO\, a new numerical relativity code with ada
 ptive mesh refinement!
