 e intelligence\, allowing them to cooperate effectively. Because device co
 operation is carried out on the basis of partial and noisy channel state m
 easurements\, a framework for decentralized coordination is essential. We 
 start by giving a (very brief) introduction to the general fields of Coord
 ination and Team Decision theories. We then present some practical applica
 tions in wireless networks and practical gains in typical scenarios are il
 lustrated.
