DESCRIPTION:Society of Fellows of Harvard University\nThe purpose of the S
 ociety of Fellows of Harvard University is to give men and women at an ear
 ly stage of their scholarly careers an opportunity to pursue their studies
  in any department of the University\, free from formal requirements. They
  must be persons of exceptional ability\, originality\, and resourcefulnes
 s\, and should be of the highest calibre of intellectual achievement\, com
 parable to successful candidates for junior faculty positions at leading u
 niversities. These Junior Fellows are selected by the Senior Fellows\, who
  with the President and Provost of the University\, and the Dean of the Fa
 culty of Arts and Sciences\, ex officio\, administer the Society. Those el
 ected receive three year fellowships.\nThe deadline for receiving nominati
 ons for Junior Fellowships which begin July 1\, 2015\, is Friday\, August 
 15\, 2014. No nomination will be accepted with a postmark past the deadlin
 e. Nominations will not be accepted by email.
