DESCRIPTION:Martin Albrecht\, Royal Holloway\, University of London (UK)\n
The Learning with Errors (LWE) problem has become a central building block
of\nmodern cryptographic constructions\, underpinning constructions from
public key\ncryptography to fully homomorphic encryption. In a nutshell th
e problem is to\nsolve a "noise" linear system of equations.\nIn this talk
we will introduce the problem and then given an overview of\nhardness res
ults for concrete instances of LWE. In particular\, we will discuss\nstrat
egies and algorithms proposed in the literature for solving LWE and give\n
the expected resources required to run them.
