DESCRIPTION:Under this new Grand Challenge The Bill and Linda Gates Founda
 tion seek original and innovative concepts for vaccines\, therapeutics and
  diagnostics with the potential to be translated into safe\, effective\, a
 ffordable and widely utilized interventions to protect against the acquisi
 tion\, progression or transmission of infectious diseases or provide a cur
 e for infectious diseases in resource‐limited settings.Funding:\n\n		Ful
 l awards include grants\, program related investments and/or contracts up 
 to USD $10\,000\,000 per awardee for up to four years but must include an 
 industry\, biotech or other translational partner.\n	\n		Pilot awards of u
 p to USD $2\,000\,000 for up to four years\, with the anticipation that su
 ccessful applicants will apply for a full award in subsequent years\, will
