DESCRIPTION:Prof. Frank Grossmann\, Technische Universität Dresden\nWe pr
esent results on the effect of external fields as well as of a\ndissipativ
e environment on the tunneling dynamics in a bistable\ndouble well as well
as on the tunneling through a resonant tunneling\ndouble barrier.\nAfter
reviewing briefly the coherent tunneling dynamics in\na bistable potential
\, the effect of coherent destruction of\ntunneling by an external periodi
c field is highlighted [1].\nNext\, the influence of a single harmonic deg
ree of freedom on the\nresonant tunneling through a resonant tunneling bar
rier\nis demonstrated [2].\nFinally\, some recent results on electron pump
ing through a resonant\ntunneling barrier in the presence of a Caldeira-Le
ggett heat bath\nare shown\, that have been gained using the HEOM formalis
 m of Tanimura\nand coworkers in Wigner phase space [3].\n[1] F. Grossmann\
