 ttempt to describe the set of zeta functions of K3 surfaces over a given f
 inite field. For abelian varieties this question is completely answered by
  the Honda-Tate theorem. A significant part of the talk will be devoted to
  the theory of complex multiplication of complex projective K3 surfaces\, 
 which plays an important role in the construction of K3 surfaces over fini
 te fields.
