 gebra of the positive part of a\ncomplex symmetric Kac-Moody Lie algebra c
 an be realized as a convolution\nalgebra of constructible functions on rep
 resentation varieties of a quiver.\nThis result was inspired by Ringel's H
 all algebra approach to quantum groups.\nWe explain how Schofield's result
  might be generalized to non-symmetric Kac-Moody\nalgebras. This is joint 
 work with Geiss and Leclerc.
