 e maker\, but also to local women\, combining science\, humanities and ent

 lub de Femmes Entrepreneures”\, and their President\, Nadine Reichenthal
 \, to also bring local female talents into public exposure.\nTo celebrate 
 the 10th Anniversay of the Erna Hamburger we are proud to welcome Prof. Ji
 ll Farrant\, a brilliant\, innovative phytologist and our laureate from So
 uth Africa. Her work on understanding the mechanisms employed by resurrect
 ion plants in order to tolerate desiccation has been fundamental to identi
 fying genes of importance for improving drought tolerance of crops through
