  and representation theory. The study of the arithmetic of moduli spaces l
 eads to deep connection between these various areas as shown for instance 
 by Ngo for the proof of the fundamental lemma via the arithmetic of the Hi
 tchin map. In this workshop the focus will be the arithmetic aspects of va
 rious moduli spaces.
