DESCRIPTION:The SV postdoc association and the BioScience Network Lausanne
  are gladly continuing our collaboration with the Novartis Institute for B
 iomedical Research (NIBR) in Basel: the Novartis-EPFL-UNIL (NEU) Meeting. 
 The 3rd NEU meeting will take place on the 7th of December 2015 (Monday) i
 n Basel. The aim of this meeting is to promote interactions among research
 ers conducting similar types of research in academia and in industry. PhD 
 students and postdocs will have the opportunity to present their work and 
 learn about research at NIBR. Besides\, participants will attend exclusive
  lab visits at NIBR. Please note that this meeting is not meant to be a jo
 b fair.   \nThe tentative layout of the day is as follows:\n·    
    arrival in Basel at 9 AM (costs of transportation are on the particip
 ants)\n·       presentations by EPFL/UNIL scientists\n·     
   lunch break and poster session\n·       presentations by NIBR sc
 ientists\n·       lab visits\n·       departure to Lausanne 
 around 6 PM\nWe are looking for PhD students and postdocs from EPFL and UN
 IL performing research in these areas:\n1. Immunity and inflammation\n2. M
 icrobiota\n3. Stem cells\n4. Epigenetics\n5. Oncology\n6. Human genetics\n
 7. Next generation sequencing and genomics\n8. Proteomics\n9. Neuroscience
 \n10. Receptors and ligands\n11. Organ regeneration\n12. Physiology of dis
 ease\n13. Biosensors\nThe registration will start on the 7th of September 
 and the deadline is the 30th of September 2015\, 12:00.  The organizing c
 ommittee\, together with reviewers from Novartis and EPFL/UNIL\, will sele
 ct participants based on their abstracts. The results of the selection wil
 l be communicated by October 15th\, 2015. Please follow the link below for
