 s\, namely Blind Audio Source Separation (BASS) and Music Information Retr
 ieval (MIR)\, have been brought together. Indeed\, BASS aims at breaking a
 n audio mixture into several source tracks\, which can help the indexing g
 oals of MIR. Inversely\, knowledge on the audio such as musical notes or i
 nstrument labels may help BASS applications.
