DESCRIPTION:Eurostars\, a pan-european initiative\, is aimed towards R&D-p
 erforming small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).\nEurostars supports 
 the development of rapidly marketable innovative products\, processes and 
 services. Projects\, which must be led by a SME\, generally involve severa
 l international partners\, including Research institutions. The maximum du
 ration is 36 months. Swiss SMEs\, Research Institutions and Larger compani
 es are eligible to apply.\n34 countries are members of Eurostars and a tot
 al funding of 1.14 billion Euros has been allocated for the period of 2014
  – 2020.Eurostars is part of the EUREKA framework and is managed by the 
 SERI.\nA maximum of 500\,000 Euros funding per project\, covering 50% of c
 osts for Research Institutions and SMEs\, will be provided. The hourly rat
 es shown on this webpage\, which already include 25% overheads\, should be
