DESCRIPTION:The AIRL (International Association of Research in Logistics) 
 is holding the 11th of its International Meetings on Logistics Research an
 d Supply Chain Management (RIRL) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technol
 ogy at EPFL on September 8 and 9\, 2016.\nIt will be preceded by a doctora
 l session\, on September 7\, 2016\, also at the EPFL.\nThese bi‐annual m
 eetings bring together researchers from all parts of the world who special
 ise in the field of logistics and the supply chain.\nRIRL 2016 will combin
 e academic subjects with industrial presentations\; a unique opportunity t
 o link academic research to the commercial world and the practical concern
 s of companies and national or international organisations. The overall th
 eme will be: “The Issues and Challenges of the Supply Chain in 2020”. 
 Papers should address one or more of the subjects in this non‐exclusive 
 list:\n‐ Supply chain strategies\n‐ Organising company networks\n‐ O
 ptimising the supply chain\n‐ Globalisation of markets\, collaboration\,

  Logistical services\nProposed papers are expected to deal with theoretica
 l\, methodological\, conceptual and experimental approaches as much as con
 crete examples of implementing industrial solutions.\nProposed papers shou
 ld be short (typically 8 pages\, approx. 2\,500 words with 1.5 line spacin
 g) and written in French or English. They must be sent to the organising c
 ommittee which will submit them to anonymous evaluation by two independent
  experts.\nAfter verification and adaptation\, the final accepted papers w
 ill be published in the records of the meetings and made available on‐li
 ne on the AIRL website. The scientific committee will then select the best
  papers for publication in two special editions: French papers in Logistiq
 ue & Management (the AIRL official magazine) ‐ www.logistique‐manageme
