DESCRIPTION:Fonds National Suisse (FNS / SNSF)\nResearchers may submit the
 ir pre-proposals in the frame of the National Research Programme "Smarter 
 Health Care" (NRP 74).\nThe NRP 74 will promote innovative health services
  research aimed at tackling the practical challenges of caring for the chr
 onically ill in Switzerland. In addition\, NRP 74 aims to improve the usab
 ility of health data and create a strong community of health services rese
 archers who are capable of conducting world-leading research in the field.
 \nResearch projects of NRP 74 are limited to a maximum of 48 months. The a
 verage budget of a project is expected to range between 300\,000 to 400\,0
 00 CHF.Approved projects must start no later than three months after the d
 ate of the approval.\nA two-stage submission procedure is used: Pre-propos
 als are submitted first\, a selection of proposals is then invited so subm
 it a full proposal. The Steering Committee expects pre- and full proposals
  to be submitted in English\, unless it can be shown that either German or
  French is intrinsically better suited to the research topic.\nFor evaluat
