 cientists"Description and objectives\nAcademic mobility comes in two main 
 flavours: accepting a research position abroad\, and short-term travelling
  for collaborations\, meetings or fieldwork. Both can provide great opport
 unities as well as challenges\, especially with children involved. Mobilit
 y can be a important factor for success in an academic career\, and is now
 adays even seen as an essential requirement in many cases. We will discuss
  opportunities\, challenges and impact of academic mobility. Participants 
 will receive information and feedback on how to organize a move abroad and
  short-term travelling. They will be encouraged to self-reflect in order t
 o make a grounded decision regarding mobility in their own lives.Objective

 ituation with travel requirements\n• Understand opportunities\, challeng
 es and impact of academic mobility\n• Have practical information on how 
 to find a position abroad and how to prepare for an international move\n

 ressed to young female academics of the next generation and for women prof
 essors of the universities of French-speaking Switzerland\, HES-SO and EPF
 L. The REGARD programme is organized by the gender equality offices those 
 institutions.\nThe objective of the REGARD program is to develop skills an
 d offer concrete tools for career management and supervision. These worksh
 ops also create spaces for discussion and exchange of experiences among re
 searchers. They also aim to increase awareness of gender equality issues i
 n academic careers.
