 in. This work comprises a total of 52 percussion instruments which blend w
 ith the accordion’s complex chords and rapid lines. "Metal Work" is a re
 ference work for the accordion and percussion repertoire\, yet remains dif
 ficult to schedule as it requires a heavy logistical workload.\nFrom Finni
 sh word for "alloy"\, Metalliseos is a project entirely based on this latt
 er work. Furthermore\, the musical ensemble Too hot to hoot? ordered three
  new pieces to young swiss and american composers\, asking to use solely p
 ercussion instruments from the original set to simplify organisation. Each
  in a very different register\, these pieces of music mirror Magnus Lindbe
 rg’s works in their own way.
