 l. Haptic perception typically requires the active exploration of the obj
 ect\, to compensate the limited extension of the contact  surface and  a
 pprehend the whole object. At the same time\, any haptic exploration also
  involves interaction forces which are often neglected in the study  of 
 the haptic modality. Understanding interaction forces is also important d
 uring human-human and human-machine physical interaction. This talk will 
 present several experiments that explore the binome force-movement in the
  haptic perception  of force fields by a single person and by dyads.
