  & Development Center (CODEV) is pleased to present SenseCityVity\, a succ
 essful project funded by its Seed Money Program in 2014 and 2015.\n\nThe e
 ngagement of young people in local civic concerns is of relevance in Latin
  America today\, and has educational\, social\, and economic implications.
 \nHow do Latin American youth perceive their urban environment? How do the
 y react to problems like security\, accessibility\, or waste management? W
 hat issues are they more sensitive about? What problems go unnoticed?  Ho
 w can mobile and social technologies be used to document these issues\, en
 able self and group reflections\, and contribute to community actions?\n\n
 In the talk\, we will present SenseCityVity\, a mobile crowdsourcing frame
 work where young people help render visible urban issues that matter to th
 em. Integrating photos and video\, online experiments\, data analysis\, an
 d media creation\, the collective work enables a reflection process throug
 h which discussions and proposals to address such issues can emerge.\n\nCo
