 stitute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is organising an Information Da
 y for the 2016 Call for Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) Propos
 als.\nThe main objectives of the conference is to provide participants wit
 h information on the Call and guidance to potential applicants in submitti
 ng high quality and successful proposals.\nThe EIT’s mission and strateg
 ic priorities under the umbrella of Horizon 2020\, the Framework Programme
  for Research and Innovation\, will be presented. Participants will also g
 et first-hand information on the underlying philosophy of the Call for Pro
 posals\, the evaluation process and the Call roadmap.\nThe KIC model and t
 he principles for funding\, monitoring and evaluating KICs will be discuss
 ed and in addition\, information will be provided on how to submit applica
 tions. Participants will also have an opportunity to network and engage wi
 th the EIT and with potential applicants.\nAttendance of this event is ope
 n to all interested innovation stakeholders and registration will be on a 
 first come first served basis. The Information Day will be recorded and al
