 s in becoming excellent speakers. Specifically\, it will assist you with:
  \n\n		Effectively employing verbal and non-verbal skills for two-directi
 onal communication\n	\n		Conveying more confidence and assurance\n	\n		Pre
 paring for questions\n	\n		Designing presentations to support a clear\, me
 morable take-away message \n	\n		Identifying a few key areas for you to i
 mprove your presentation skills\nMethods \nParticipants will work individ
 ually and in small groups on a variety of reflective and practical exercis
 es designed to assist them in transferring the skills to their own present
 ations. Particular emphasis has been made to make the workshop relevant fo
 r science. Each participant will give a five-minute presentation on her re
 search\, or an aspect of her work\, which will be video-recorded.  Constr
 uctive\, individual feedback is a collaborative product of the group.Regis
 tration & Participation fee\nParticipation is free for members of partner 
 institutions. Registration is done online and opens 6 weeks before the cou
 rse begins.\n+++++++++++++++++\nThe REGARD programme is addressed to young
  female academics of the next generation and for women professors of the u
 niversities of French-speaking Switzerland\, HES-SO and EPFL. The REGARD p
 rogramme is organized by the gender equality offices those institutions.\n
 The objective of the REGARD program is to develop skills and offer concret
 e tools for career management and supervision. These workshops also create
  spaces for discussion and exchange of experiences among researchers. They
  also aim to increase awareness of gender equality issues in academic care
 ers.
