DESCRIPTION:The programme "JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships for Overseas Rese
 archers" enables Swiss researchers to stay in Japan for 12 to 24 months.\n
 In 2016\, the SNSF can propose one or two researchers to the JSPS.\nResear
 chers interested in the fellowships are invited to submit their applicatio
 ns by 31 March 2016. The forms provided by the JSPS for this purpose must 
 be used and the relevant conditions must be observed. The completed forms 
 and all necessary enclosures must be sent both by post to the Internationa
 l Co-operation division of the SNSF and by e-mail to international@snf.ch 
 as a scanned attachment.\nAfter evaluation by the SNSF\, the JSPS will eva
 luate the applications nominated by the SNSF and inform the candidates abo
 ut the funding decision in August.\nThe selected researchers will therefor
 e be able to commence their stays at the earliest on 1 August and at the l
 atest on 30 November 2016.
