 ing literature\, we describe overall evolution of market penetration of al
 ternative fuel types in some European countries using car registration dat
 a over the last decade. We then turn to cross-sectional modeling of indivi
 dual demands for new cars in France in 2014 using revealed preference data
 . We here develop advanced disaggregate choice modeling techniques. We fur
 ther use bootstrap techniques for imputation of attributes of unchosen alt
 ernatives. Price endogeneity is accounted for. Short-run own and cross ela
 sticities of demands with respect to car attributes are then discussed.
