DESCRIPTION:The Hans-Eggenberger-Prize is usually awarded every year to ou
 tstanding young scientists. The aim is to promote young scientists\, prefe
 rably but not exclusively\, in the field of interdisciplinary application 
 of electronics and / or electrical power engineering.\nThe prize consists 
 of a CHF 10\,000 grant and the co-financing of a subsequent research proje
 ct.\nThe prize money of CHF 10\,000 will be awarded to an outstanding bach
 elor\, master or doctoral thesis.\nThe Foundation Hans-Eggenberger may fun
 d one of these research projects up to CHF 100\,000.-. This project would 
 be initiated in a Swiss High School or University and may be pursued in Sw
