DESCRIPTION:The 100&Change competition from the MacArthur Foundation. This
  competition is seeking one problem/solution pair in the specific scale of
  $100M.\nThe call is open to applications that propose real\, measurable s
 olutions to significant problems from any field or sector.\nExample of fie
 lds: climate change\, food security\, developing sustainable communities\,
  health and diagnosis\, malnutrition\, and chronic disease\, as well as ar
 eas such as population growth\, economic inequality\, preventing conflict 
 and governance.\n \nThe application deadline is October 3rd\, 2016.\nIf y
 ou wish to apply with EPFL as main applicant\, please send a summary of yo
 ur project using the attached document to the Research Office by August 15
 \, 2016.\nSince the Foundation strongly encourages that a single project i
 s submitted by each organization\, an internal selection for the project t
 hat will represent EPFL will be carried out in case of multiple proposals.
