 6 Swiss Inter- and Transdisciplinarity Day is organised by td-net in coope
 ration with the University of Lucerne.\nThe Swiss Inter- and Transdiscipli
 narity Day 2016 addresses the framing phase of inter- and transdisciplinar
 y projects. This very important phase includes elaborating the life-world 
 and scientific goals\, analysing context and actors in the field of the pr
 oject\, involving representatives from the disciplines and stakeholders in
  the respective field\, defining the scientific work plan and stakeholder 
 engagement concept\, finding potential funding bodies and writing a propos
 al.\nThe Framing phase poses several challenges that will be discussed at 
 the conference\, including:\n\n		The design of the process\, finding suita
 ble methods to deliberatively frame a project with representatives from di
 fferent disciplines and stakeholders.\n	\n		Finding resources to conduct t
 he funding phase and finding suitable research funders to submit the propo
 sal.\n\nAt the Conference we want to share experiences of inter- and trans
 disciplinary project framing phases and proposal elaboration. Furthermore 
 we invite research funders to discuss ideas about funding of framing phase
 s as well as ways to submit the elaborated proposals.\nExamples of inter- 
 and transdisciplinary project framing and proposal development will be pre
 sented from projects funded by the „Sustainable Development at Universit
 ies Programme“  and from an open call where we invite you to contribute
